CHEMICAL

Desert Sands policies require any student who receives an alcohol or other drug suspension to participate in the Student Assistance Insight program.  Students and families meet with SAP staff individually to develop an action plan to build better choices and direction in their lives.   Students participate in the Insight Education Program and parents are informed if a referral to a formal assessment and/or drug testing available in the community is appropriate.
