Classified Professional Growth
Dear DSUSD Classified Employees and Prospective DSUSD Employee:
I want to welcome you to the Professional Growth Programs at Desert Sands Unified School District. The mission of Desert Sands Unified School District is to promote excellence and professionalism throughout our educational community. We believe our classified employees are integral members of this learning community. As such, the district supports the efforts of those classified employees who extend the personal commitment and effort to continue their education through salary step increase.
This process is outlined in article 8.8 of the agreement between DSUSD and CSEA, Chapter 106. The DSUSD Professional Growth process is a source of great pride in our district, and another reason to that we know that Desert Sands Unified School District is a premier place to work!
